A moment of divine inspiration led him to focus on using his musical talents to impact lives, rather than seeking fame. Despite the chaos of a seven-sibling family, Gary remains dedicated to his music career. His debut album "LIVIN" made a mark in the Texas charts with "Lone Star Tears," and "Beer Goggle Blues" continues to connect with fans. Since their first gig together in 2008, the Bird Dogs have steadily entrenched in the Texas country music scene, sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the business. Their music delivers a powerful blend of Texas-country, gritty rock and three-part harmonies, with songs that reflect family, love, loss, and hope for the future. Best known as co-host of the Morning Musers on KTCK The Ticket, George Dunham has always had music in his life. Through The Bird Dogs, George has found an outlet for his songwriting with an ensemble that brings reverberating life to his words and music. 

Join us for the Bird Dogs Christmas Party Benefiting Serve Denton and Bartonville Police Department's Blue Santa Program! Wednesday, Dec 17th 6 – 10 PM The Bartonville Store George Dunham & The Bird Dogs will deliver their signature blend of Texas country, gritty rock, and heartfelt harmonies-with some holiday tunes thrown in for fun! Monetary donations go toward helping Denton County families in need through Serve Denton. Unwrapped toys will go to Bartonville Police Department's Blue Santa Program serving local families during the holidays. Let’s celebrate the season with great music and a great cause!

DOLBY KINGS features Monte Montgomery (named one of the top 50 guitarists of all time by Guitar Player Magazine), Dave Deshazo (bass guitar), and Phil Bass (drums). Individually, these talented and accomplished musicians have spent their careers playing a wide variety of music within a multitude of genres. However, it was their combined passion and admiration for the artists and bands of the 70’s that inspired the birth of DOLBY KINGS. Simply put, this was a way of getting together to play the songs they loved from a musical generation they treasured (and much to the delight of their fans)! In 1979, with a rock and soul upbringing, Joey Love uprooted from Pennsylvania and moved to Texas. There, he was introduced to a melting pot of music, including Blues, Reggae, Rock, R&B, Country, and Jam Band music; the rest is history. The stage is no stranger, as he has been performing in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and regionally for over 35 years.
