Zac Harmon is an award-winning BLUES guitarist, singer, and songwriter whose distinctive style provides a powerful soul message of the blues. He’s been called “a masterful musician and performer of the blues,” whose delivery rivals “Bobby Blue Bland uptown sophistication with a touch of Freddie King guitar.” Another reviewer intoned, “With his big blues sound from Mississippi, Harmon can go toe-to-toe with some of the best blues men in the business. Please don’t be shy, go ahead and mention Harmon’s name in the same sentence with Bobby ‘Blue’ Bland, Albert King and Bobby Rush—just to name a few.

Prophets and Outlaws event photo

Prophets and Outlaws

Thursday April 24th

This SOUTHERN SOUL band originated in a Jesuit high school set in the heart of metropolitan Dallas when two brothers and a best friend came together in their shared love of music. Almost a decade later, the now band of five boasts a massive fan base that spans ten states across the South and Midwest and an active online community of more than 25,000. Their commanding instrumental groove, relatable lyrics, and authentic five part harmonies have sent them to the top of the music charts and earned the band over 7 million Spotify streams. While on the road over 100 days a year across the country, this unity is extended as an invitation to their fans every night. Each night the connection forged is real. “Our fans support us like family would. It doesn't matter how far away from home we might be; they make us feel like we are right where we belong.” While recording the new album, PAO aimed to reciprocate that appreciation and prove that the feeling is mutual.

Dustin Arbuckle & The Damnations event photo

Dustin Arbuckle & The Damnations

Friday April 25th

Dustin Arbuckle and The Damnations are not a band you can easily associate with one specific genre, and that's how they planned it. Arbuckle, a veteran of the progressive roots music scene whose singing and harmonica playing first came into prominence in Moreland & Arbuckle, has been kicking up fresh dust with The Damnations since 2017. A musician of vast appetites, he’s long held an appreciation for traditional American music in the vein of Charley Patton as well as the cross-pollinated sounds of The Band or Stax-style soul. The diverse musical sensibilities of The Damnations (Brandon Hudspeth on guitar, Caleb Drummond or Mark Foley on bass, and Colby Aiken on Drums) allow for all of that along with occasional forays into DEEP COUNTRY and even JAZZ. “When we started playing together we all wanted the band to be a space where we could play anything we wanted to," Arbuckle notes, "and that's created this cross-genre electric AMERICANA vibe."

For over a decade, RED DIRT singer-songwriter and musician Brandon Rhyder has been living the high life as one of the most celebrated music artists to come out of Texas. Widely exalted for his exquisite ability to couple gorgeous melodies with superb storytelling and deeply admired for his signature songbird vocal style, Rhyder is an artist's artist. His resume boasts 18 years of highly praised albums, a rigorous tour schedule of 175 plus dates a year and the privilege of working with top-notch songwriters like Liz Rhodes, Keith Gattis, Lori McKenna and Radney Foster to name a few. Born and raised in Carthage, Texas, Rhyder grew up singing in church, where his voice, even then, stood out. In college he discovered the guitar and began writing songs. He moved to Austin in 1999, quickly becoming part of the Red Dirt scene. His first album, "Because She Loves Me," appeared in 2001, with his second, "Behind the Pine Curtain" released in 2003. The Walt Wilkins-produced "Conviction" was released in 2005 that included the timeless classics "Freeze Frame Time" and "Back Roads." By then Rhyder was firmly established on the Texas scene. Arriving in 2007 "Live" on Apex Records delivered Rhyder's first charting Texas single, "Before I Knew Your Name."

Petty Theft

Friday June 27th

For nearly two decades, Petty Theft has been tearing up the Dallas-Ft Worth area with their spot-on renditions of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' tunes. They're a big deal in the local cover band scene, always getting the crowd on their feet with every Tom Petty classic you can think of, from 'American Girl' to 'Don't Come Around Here No More' and everything in between. They make sure to cover something from every album in Tom Petty's extensive catalog, nailing every little detail from the sound to the performance. When you go to one of their shows, you know you're in for a band that gives it their all on stage. They're all about leaving it all out there and never letting their fans down. And trust me, disappointment is a rare thing when it comes to Petty Theft.
